Achieve a straight smile without unsightly wires and brackets. Invisalign® is a see-through alternative to traditional orthodontics that allows you to go about your daily life without anyone noticing that you are wearing aligners. This system straightens your teeth gradually over time by means of clear, plastic aligners that slip over your natural teeth. The discreet option allows you to eat and clean your teeth with ease. Book an appointment and have Dr. Miller evaluate your smile to determine if Invisalign® is right for you.
Is Invisalign treatment right for you? For many people, the answer is yes. Whether you just want to love your smile a little more, you think you’ve got a particularly tough case, or you’re a teen and your teeth are still growing in, see what Invisalign treatment can do for you.
It starts with a smile consultation with Dr.Miller. Once he understands your smile vision, photos are taken along with impressions of your teeth. We explain the smile vision to the Invisalign team. After reviewing 3 dimensional clinical check the aligners are created by Invisalign and shipped to us.
Invisalign’s patented process fabricates customized plastic upper and lower sets of aligners. These aligners are replaced every 10-14 days. Each set will gradually move your teeth to the desired end result.
Invisalign makes changes to your teeth very gradually. Minor changes can be made in a few short weeks with little discomfort, and more complex changes can occur over a longer span of time to ensure you stay as comfortable as possible. There may be some discomfort, but if your Invisalign hurts it’s important to contact your dentist.
In general, most of the orthodontic cases that we treat with Invisalign take as little as 6 to 14 months. Using the latest technologies available, we can switch through the aligner trays in as little as one week. You can come in for a new set of aligners every 4-6 weeks.
Optimal wear is 22 hours a day. You can remove your aligners to eat and drink. It is important to clean your aligners and teeth before putting them back in. Always rinse your aligner and keep them in your Invisalign case when you aren't wearing them. You may soak your aligners in denture cleaner or Invisalign cleaning crystals and carefully rinse them before putting them back in your mouth. Do not eat or drink with your trays in, and do not use toothpaste to clean your trays. We will provide you with detailed home care instructions when you receive your first trays.
The cost of Invisalign depends on the complexity of your orthodontic treatment plan. We will provide you with an estimate after your initial consultation.
You can call your insurance provider directly to find out if they will cover Invisalign.
