Cosmetic Dentistry Can Beautify Your Smile

Porcelain Veneers

The Miller Center offers porcelain veneers to conceal a variety of cosmetic issues, including discolored, chipped, misshapen, or slightly crooked teeth. Veneers are thin shells that fit over the teeth, masking any imperfections. Prior to treatment, you and your dentist will discuss your cosmetic goals. After your teeth have been prepared, we will take an impression so that our lab can custom-make your veneers from e.max® or Empress® ceramic. They are usually ready to be placed in your mouth within two weeks.

Teeth Whitening

To brighten your smile, we offer chairside and take-home whitening treatments including Philips Zoom!® WhiteSpeed™, which involves a safe, powerful hydrogen peroxide gel that is activated with a special LED light to brighten your teeth up to eight shades in a single session. We also offer Opalescence® Go. You can choose the flavor (mint, peach, or melon) and intensity (ten or fifteen percent) of your whitening gel, which is dispensed into disposable trays worn daily for up to ten days.

Smile Makeover

Our team can create a customized smile makeover plan for patients who wish to correct multiple cosmetic issues. Dr. Miller will work closely with you to clearly understand your goals. We also create models and wax-ups of your teeth so you can preview the results and provide feedback throughout the entire process. A smile makeover may involve teeth whitening, porcelain veneers, dental bonding, laser gum contouring, MTM® clear aligners, BOTOX® Cosmetic, XEOMIN®, or dermal fillers.

Gum Contouring

Excess gum tissue can cause otherwise healthy teeth to look worn, underdeveloped, or unhealthy. We use advanced dental lasers to comfortably remove excess gum tissue, creating a flattering new frame for your teeth. This sophisticated technology minimizes discomfort and recovery time so you can begin enjoying your new smile as soon as you leave our office. Patients often elect to combine this treatment with porcelain veneers for a more dramatic transformation.

Dental Bonding

We offer dental bonding, or chairside composite veneers, as a more immediate and affordable alternative to porcelain veneers. In most cases, we can complete dental bonding in one appointment. Dr. Miller will apply the bonding resin by hand to cover your dental imperfections. With bonding, we can quickly improve the appearance of the teeth and conceal minor cosmetic imperfections so that you can get back to your life.

BOTOX® Cosmetic and Dermal Fillers

Dr. Miller offers injectable treatments to reduce wrinkles and firm your skin for a more youthful appearance. BOTOX® Cosmetic and Xeomin® work by preventing your facial muscles from contracting and creating wrinkles, while our dermal fillers (JUVÉDERM®, JUVÉDERM® Ultra Plus, Radiesse®, Restylane®, and Perlane®) smooth wrinkles by adding volume. These treatments are an excellent complement to cosmetic dental treatment. We occasionally offer specials on injectable treatments to make it more affordable for our valued patients.

Invisalign ®

Invisalign® is a see-through alternative to traditional orthodontics that involve unsightly wires and brackets. This system straightens your teeth gradually over time by means of clear, plastic aligners that slip over your natural teeth. You can remove Invisalign® while you clean your teeth and eat, so you can eat what you want and clean your smile with ease. Invisalign® is very discreet – most people will have no idea that you are wearing your aligners as you go about your daily life. Dr. Miller will evaluate your smile and determine if Invisalign® is right for you.

MTM® Clear Aligner

We provide MTM®, or “minor tooth movement” orthodontia for patients with mild misalignment who want to straighten their teeth without the hassle of braces. These clear, plastic aligners are custom-made in our office to gradually shift your teeth into their proper positions. You will wear a new aligner every two weeks. In addition to being discreet, MTM® aligners are removable, allowing you to practice better dental hygiene and enjoy any food or drink you wish. Patients often complete treatment in less than six months.
